                   WALT: Poetry about natural disaster 

                                                  CYCLONE 

This term in Science and social study we're focus on natural disaster ,but the social study the topic we've been working on was how natural disaster affected the people . So our poetry writing we can choose what natural disaster that you want .For me I did cyclone at my last sentences my poem will be link there . I know it's hard to do it but I try my best but "Yeah I did it" .Doing this poem, I but all my thought together and I try to do it so it will make sense .

OUR PRODUCTION

             WALT; know what natural disaster that happen in                                        Pacific Island  

                                                 Production 

This week we were so busy doing our production ,because were going to perform our production in the Ako evening . This production is about natural disaster that happen in the Pacific island like Samoan, Fiji ,Cook Island,Niue ,Tonga and also New Zealand.So I'm in Samoan group because I'm a Samoan .We did a script and were're ready to  have a rehearsal on Monday .I'm scared and shy because I'm scared and shy to perform in front of all the student ,but I try and try. When we had a rehearsal only my group and the Fijian group were performing , but I didn't feel shy because when we were performing it was fun and cool . Our script was fun to everybody and also our teacher .

So our group script it's about the tsunami that happen in Samoan 2009. Samoan group and Fijian group we did performed on last Friday ,and I thought it's what unfair because we always perform but none else , but it's not it's just my thought but it not .So what I found challenging was the natural disaster that happen in Samoan .I wasn't there during the natural disaster ,because that time I was only three(3) years of age  . So I don't know what happen all I know that my family was survive . What I enjoy was our greeting dance ,because some of our group were not Samoan but they were trying to dance Samoan dance ,only that is hard to do Samoan dance but they were trying to do it .There is nothing that I don't like it .It was all set up ,but there are no worried .

Maths

 

            WALT;  Convert whole number  & decimal 

                                      Decimal 

We had a Maths last week and solving decimal and whole number . So our maths is getting harder and harder .So this maths we almost on decimal .We had a visitor that visit us when we were doing our Maths ,well I'm not sure about the name but his a man .So when we had Maths, I didn't feel good because I thought it's kind of boring, but when it's finish I learn something new from this activity .My friend support me but I thought Maths was the boring subject ,but then when some group were present I've learn something from it . It was solving decimal and whole number .Sometimes when we were not understand something, we just said "I hate it ". But that's not it , we have to go when it's hard just go you will know soon ,but don't forget your a knowledge seeker and you are searching for a knowledge .

What I found challenging was how you converting whole number and decimal. What I said that converting whole number  and decimal because I didn't know how to solve it but at the end I know and also, I remember what my teacher at Samoan tough me how to do it . So that why I answer the last part of the question .What I enjoy was you understand where you put the point (decimal point) .I know how to solve decimal number ,and I know where to the point when I'm solving the problem . At the end my friends were confuse ,but that time I was already know how to the problem .So I was trying to make them feel confident ,now on they were really confident .

Fa'afiu - technology

                                       Today's blog is about ...........                                                                  TECHNOLOGY

Today is our third day of technology at Tamaki college .We had lots of fun because we switch  group so for me I was in cooking but for now on I'm in Graphics .So today we had a technology and what we were looking for was mobile stand .I did a bridge stand but I did with the Plasticine but sorry my technology teacher didn't share it to me .But I did three kind of mobile stand first I did bridge stand with the Plasticine second  a hot-dog stand that's mean a food stand ,and the third one was like a the thing that the back of a the phone sorry but I don't how to tell .


What I found challenging was how to make a stand phone with the Plasticine .Plasticine is not the same as other kind of clay because Plasticine is hard when you first touch it ,like when you touch it it hard to make anything because it's hard ,so the first thing you must do is to make it soft with your hands .When it's soft you can do what ever you want .What I don't like it it's when we were making the Plasticine soft it's taking to long and also it's makes my hand weak ,like not really weak .So what I enjoy was how to make a stand phone with the Plasticine because it's now soft and it was already soft ,so just build a stand mobile .Hope you enjoy my technology .

Faafiu's family

          MY FAMILY.

My name is Fa'afiu .I’ve got a big family ,Include my father’s side and also my mother’s side.  But for me I close to my father side.We all close to my father’s side ,because we all name to the name of our father’s side .I’ve got three brother and one sister ,and we had a sad news of our life that my parents separate us , my sister Rosa was now adopted by the sister of our dad .When my mother was here at home I’m came from school and saw my mother’s tears and I guess why ,but I was looking for my sister ,but it’s was sad that are now separate for the rest of my life I won’t tell her that she is my sister . And anyways I’m happy now that I’m trying to forget it . But now we had only five siblings and my parents .When we came from Samoa I can’t forget my Grandad Uesile his a good father I’ve ever love .I miss my grandpa very very much .And I was praying to God that if I can see my grandpa again .And I thought to myself the life is not easy . All I wanted is to see them again and I’m sure it will work ,it will work ,will work .

I know that the living God will lead me there in Samoa

Duffy Assembly

Today's blog is about ...............

Duffy Assembly .

Today is a very interesting day because we had assembly. This time our assembly is a duffy assembly. We had a visitor that came in our school. His name is Michel Mulipola and his the same culture as mine which is Samoan. When he started talking to us all I learnt was that reading is another important subject in your learning ,and reading can improve your knowledge .



What I found challenging that never give up when you stuck please never give up.
What he like that he like reading , drawing  and also hangout with famous guy like John Cena, Dwayne Johnson and some people that I don't know. I know that Michel Mulipola was also a famous guy.I wish to be a famous guy like him.Lastly I heard what he said, It's like some important thing I've learn .He said "Don't forget where you from ".Like me I can't forget where I from .Only that I miss my family at Samoan because that where I born and where I grow with .Thank you hope you enjoy.....

Boxing

                                                                   BOXING

 Today is our last day for boxing and I hope boxing was making you good and great .I had a exciting day in our boxing with our coach Pats.I like boxing because its fun and also its make us feel like if we grow up we will be in boxing and it will make us popular and make our family will raise us .And I don't wanted to be in boxing because it will make us die to and also it also it was a hard game . And the sad thing that this is our last day on our boxing. What I found challenging was that never give up and always be ready. We also had six(6) session ,and this is what it is .So first we learn jap-jap ,then jap-jap-cross . and all the other thing that I can't tell.
