No Music Today.

No Music Today.

Image result for drummingToday in the Kia Manawanui Syndicate we didn't have music because our Music teacher is gone (which is sad). Our Music teacher before is Caleb and he's from Cook Island and now he's leaving the school and he gone to Papatoetoe high school. That is why we don't have music last week and also band practise. This is my little quote for caleb for leaving so quickly but we just start the year.

The preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

Ki O Rahi.

Ki O Rahi

And we were actually playing the real, real game. We first try as a Ki o ma team and we won and the reason why we won because we work as a team and also find some crazy strategies to get our point. And we did the same when we swap and we become Taniwha.

What I found challenging doing this game was trying to score our point because the other team tries to reap our tag. I enjoy winning.

Secret friend

Secret Friends

Hi everyone, last week half of the Kia Manawanui syndicate went to the library and we get library books which are your novel book. For me, I only picked one book because I spend my whole time searching for my favorite book but sadly I can't find it. Then I decided to look for another book then I find this special book called "Secret Friends". I didn't know that the bok I chose could be interesting like that. When I came up to the librarian she just said that that book is so good and special, I take her word but when we get to back to class I then Mr. Jay send us a Solo Presentation about our novel book and he said to complete only slide three but then I did.

I didn't found this activity hard because we just have to write down what you need to know
and what do you think about the title in your novel book.  What I enjoy during this task was that Ms. Hauschild was a very helpful teacher and she also help us with our work.

My Role Model

My Role Model
My dad and my uncle.

My role model is my dad. I chose this role model because his trustworthy, respectful and hardworking too. These are the three characteristics that describe my role model.

My first characteristic that describes my role model is hardworking. He's hardworking because he does what he can just to take care of us. I can see how he work hard for us because I can see how he challenge us for the future and that how a father cares about his children. For example, I can see how he work hard by being strong in going to work every day. He’s continuing doing his work but I wish I can help him now but I would like to do something to pay back his love and how he works hard for us.

My second characteristic is respectful. The reason why I chose these characteristic prefers to my role model because every time when we visit our oldest he always shows respect especially his parent and the main place that he shows respect to is the church and also his siblings. For example, he never said something back to his parents when his parent is angry at him and that show us how respectful he is and those are some example to me cause my attitude is not too good and I learn my attitude from him. By his respectful and his grateful attitude that will help me improve my attitude and show some respect to someone who’s older than and go easy on younger people.

My third characteristic is trustworthy. I chose this characteristic because I can see how people trust him and also I just in him. For example, in his work, my dad doesn’t want to bring the office car at home because he doesn’t want to do an accident with it but the supervisor just him and let him bring the car at our home. By trusting him and letting him feel that we can trust him that will make him feel free and let people count on him.

The reason why I chose these characteristic for my role model it’s because I can see this kind of skill in him every time and every day. These skills are so important to me because I need to follow them just like my dad. All of these important skills will help me in the future. I hope someday I will achieve these skills.
