Reading Task.

Reading 

WALT- read the Task and find meaning of words that has been ask and also answer the following question.

Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog. Today we were doing Reading task and the Reading task is about Technological world we. This term our focus on Reading was Technological world I pretty sure I blog about before not only Reading but also Inquiry. While we do this Task it difficult to do it because I'm kind of stuck because there some other words and question that I don't understand luckily my friends Coralee and Akih also their for me and also that they explain what we're doing I was still stuck on something but that's fine if I were that kind of person that can understand of what their saying I'll never stuck. This week we're only focus of how can we work faster so that we can finish it before the holidays and also the end of this year. In reading we have lot of things that we've been talking about that can related to the Topic that has been ask .

Here is our work me Akih and Coralee.

We haven't finished yet but we were now finish the slide 5.

What I found challenging was that there are many  sort of animals in New Zealand such has Kiwi bird, Hector dolphins, Lesser short-tailed Bat and so much more. This skill will help us when we grow up.

WALT- Freestyle write about an image.

Today our teacher Ms Komor asked us to write a story about picture. This is what I wrote. 

The wind rushed through her hair as she descended the mountain at the great speed. For most children this would be an exhilarating , even terrifying experience , but for Lucy it was just an ordinary journey to school.

She's a lovely girl always swing on the Zip-wire , she’s not scared on anything. She’s a lucky girl that she can not scared in anything cause her friends really scare of how where her house is but for Lucy is like a piece of cake that she’s not even scare.

Her house was on the mountain it’s too far from the school. People keep saying that walking on her home is too far but it’s not too far for her cause she just swing on her Zip-wire and get their very soon.

I know is not finish but I try my best to write a story. What I found challenging was that when we had it time to share your story I feel scare because my story is not make sense but my teacher make me feel better , if you have something to say you have to share it with all your class and they will help has a team.

These is how I solve fraction.

These term we have been doing our screencastify about how confident you are in Maths. I first record my decimal and the learning outcome and also my strategies and steps I use to solve the problem. I felt confident while I was solving problem because most of the question we already done solving them and understand how to solve them. Our learning outcome on refer to this topic which is decimal was that we are learning to add and subtract decimal and also understanding place value, learning this these skill will help us to solve bigger decimal number and also for the future when you were decided to be a like a work that related to Maths.

What I found challenging was to finish up work so it won't makes in trouble because if I didn't focus and I  kept talking I would get in trouble, if you focus and try to make your work done people will be proud of you because your doing the right thing. This Task is testing our mind from  what we've been during this year.

Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog well this blog can explain you or help you with more learning and more knowledge. Do you know my first blog about for today is about your evidence or your agreement and disagreement, and that just an example of how we play the game and how you answer the question that has been ask. Now your in the game you have to answer the question buy using your knowledge from what your learn about M and M's, so that is just an example.

I've got some information about someone from other school has recently blog about how Astria Game is not important. I thought that they meant because is difficult. But that's not it so my evidence in their opinion is Bias or your very disagree about that person's information. The reason why I said it was Bias because I compare this Opinion and what I saw in the game. The main important thing in the game was saving the planet from the Asteroid and also save the people. So that person from the other school just said his/her Opinion and that really great because She/he thinking on it own.

Well it's too difficult to choose do you agree or disagree about the other person Opinion. When you heard their Opinion you change your mind a connect to that person Opinion on that time on you only just think about one side that that person just told you but you have to compare it for what you're thinking with. So that person just read the other side but not all of it what I mean is that people just said what they know or their Opinion but not all the side of what you think it is. Me and my buddy Patience we had to work together to answer the question and we learn about the question. I know that Patience has to think about two side which is great because when you think of one side it make your brain confuse, But our scale of being a great team is 5/5 means five over five. I think when I play the game again I will try my best to do it and making sure that makes me understand of what you're saying.

Kia ora and welcome back to my blog about Bias, Factual and Source. Here are some question that I'm going to answer.

What is Bias?

 Bias is something that against person opinion especially when you discuss a statement on your table you have to make sure all the people at your table understand. Other thing s that people has a opinion and they were sharing it in the group people has to have a agreement first then you could say it in front of the class.

What is Factual?

Factual is like a main Fact in the statement that you should find and also making that statement true .

What is Source? 

Source is a Person who wrote that statement or his/her opinion.

Now you can see what I learn from this lesson. If you wanted to know more you can see on this photo and look if their any Factual, Bias and Source in it if you can see it then you can understand what  had been explain this thing to you.

Isometric 

WALT; Isometric Optical Illusion.

Today we had a technology because it's Thursday. Today is the difference learning and difference feelings. Today we've been for Isometric. When we get their for technology we ask our teacher Ms Ferguson trying to explain then we were trying listen and understand. So these is what we've been learning for . Ms Ferguson take over a piece of paper with a lot of line in it and then we figure t out what it is for then she explain it what is it. While she explain we were trying to think for what she said.

This is my work .

What I know about this is that Isometric is something that look like a line that cross all over the place on the piece of paper and that create any kind of shape like hexagon, heptagon, decagon and much more.What I found challenging of doing this is that create a cube but not only cube there are and lot kind of shape you can find on that line. What I enjoy at Technology is that people were participate of how they do their work and also try their best to do their work. What I like the most is that I work really hard to do my work and have some fun.

Maths 

WALT;Solve decimal. 

Today we had a work about Maths and its about solving decimal.What I know about solving these blog is making sure you solve the decimal wright and how to add or subtract decimal. When we were doing our Maths my friend Carra was stuck on something then I told her what she stuck on then me and my friend Coralee decided to work together and sovle the problem has been ask from Carra.


What I found challenging of work together is to make things easy and make sure that the people your try to make it understand is understanding of what you explain. And also we were showing school values of working together.What I enjoy is when my I feel sad because my work sheet paper was stole by someone well I was trying to look for it but I couldn't find it so I work with Coralee and tell her what happen . Then we work together .
Well I'm going to explain you how  work on my other work.

Today I start my day at technology and here what I did on my first start in this day. Today when I arrive at class all the classmate were already there ready for technology . When I arrive I saw someone already did something good for me and it was taking care of the for me and I like to say thank you to that person and you know who you are.Anyways when we get on the bus we were chat to our mate and when we get there we all split up in our group .




 When we first there at the graphic room we all go where ever we wanted to sit. Then when our teacher name Karen show us what we're going to do. As we had a discussion I think about a something and it was about like Maths is same as Graphic about difference shape  . Here is what I've learn .

• 1 (shape has only one side) = circle .
• 2 (shape only two sides ) = 
• 3 (shape only three sides )=triangle 
• 4(shape only four sides ) =square ,rectangle , cube .
• 5(shape only 5 sides ) = Pentagon 
• 6 ( shape only 6 sides ) =hexagon
• 7( shape only 7 sides ) = heptagon .
• 8(shape only 8 sides ) = Octagon 
• 9(shape only 9 sides ) = Nonagon
• 10 ( shape only 10 sides ) = decagon  

What I found challenging was found out how many sides and some shape that I don't know that I know now . The easy to know the side was the months do you know that all of the begging of this shape also start with the begging of the month . Well hope you enjoy .

Maths

WALT;convert decimal in difference operation .

Today's blog is about ...............

Converting decimal . 

On Friday we had a Maths and it's about solving decimal .When we were doing Maths my friends were stuck in other question that I didn't up to .I decided to help them while Ms Komor was having a test . What I don't like about this lesson is that yesterday I have to work with Kelly when we came from the library then someone stole my paper has I was looking for my sheet paper I saw a paper on the table I was try to look for my paper then I decided to work on the sheet that that person lost it .

What I found challenging is that I use the long way to do my work either than working on the algorithm way . What I enjoy was helping each other will e the best thing to do . Well here are some question I like to answer .
What is 43.8 + 54.6 ?
Well sit back and I will explain you what I did .

• . 8 + .6 = 1.4
• 43+54 =97
• 97 + 1.4= 98.4
• =98.4
• Well I hope you understand .

WALT; Have a opinion .

Today's blog is about.......

Nature watcher .

Today we had a visitor and her name is Ms. Treena . She taught us if the digital world lesson . Our lesson is if you agree or disagree about the statement and here is the statement .Well we saw lots of comment of why we agree and disagree about the statement .The statement is about animals who eat other animals and those animals who eat other animals were  Predator Free The meaning of this word in my own word is animals who found the own food for survive .

What I found challenging was my first time doing this and I've learn something really important . Here is my feedback for the statement I agree  for animals who hunted animals who spread disease .For example ,powelliphanta snail they spread parasitic diseases ,parasitic diseases is a disease that affect humans. I disagree because I think we don't have to respect animals because animals don't relate to us.

Today's blog is about.......

Decimal

This is my way .

Yesterday we had a Maths lesson in it's about converting decimal. Well yesterday when we had Maths their are some visitor coming in to our school . So I was so lucky because on that day me and my group present in front of the half of our class  . My group were Coralee , Carra , Akanesi and me .What I know about this lesson is that I learn was the other way to  solve decimal because I only got one way but the visitor don't understand it so I decided to to do the way so they can understand what we've done.What I found challenging about how we work was my first time stand in front of the class but not only the class but the visitor and have fun when we do a Maths .



Another thing when we did Maths was when we were finish presenting then we went on the next door and Ms Aireen gave us some sheet and to work on because the other group is going to have a lesson with Ms Komor  . While we had to work on our Maths on our netbook , Ms Aireen print a Maths sheet paper for this time when the other group was having a lesson . While we worked on our Maths sheet I didn't didn't do my work on the way which is my way but when I learn the other way I decided to use that way . What I found challenging that try on the other way will make it many ways to solve the problem .

Manaiakalni Film Festival .

Manaiakalani Film Festival 

Today we were just came back from Sylvia Park and now we're Reflecting about what you learn from difference filming that difference school. When we were in the class our teacher which is Ms Komor split us to get our buddies so that teacher can make their work easier . For me I've got two buddies difference from other student . When we first get there I was so keeping my eyes to my buddies because if I left them I'm getting in trouble. The movie that I like when we were at the movie was a room 1's movie because they show every school values in the way they make a movie about it and also I like there song and there active . 

What I found challenging about was all the difference Film were so interesting to everybody . What I like during the film that I like how each presenter got a really good confident to present in front of some school including us . The other thing I like was my buddies because when I was picking a buddy I just go straight to the girl who looking straight at me and Ms Komor picked my another buddy for me . I thought that my buddies will be great . I want to say thank you to my buddies for respecting for what I say and showing good behaviour when we were at the movie  .

 Today is our another day for technology and we are in the same group from the first time I told you in my other blog you can search on my blog then you can read and know something from it . My group is Graphics it kind of boring because it's only creating thing on the tinker-cad but it's kind of fun because I don't wanted to hurt someone's feelings . Now on let go back to our technology  ,what I've learn from technology was how to make thing has a whole because on the first time when we first start and we learn how to make things as a whole I didn't do it because I was busy doing my tinker-cad and that tells me that wright now I need to learn from my mistake . Another thing I've learn was my first time on tinker-cad because the first time I first try on the tinker-cad but theirs something happen because I wasn't listening but now I learn from my mistake again. 

What I found challenging about the technology was how to make a stand phone in by creating with tinker-cad and it was great . The reason why these thing is challenging because I never use tinker-cad with my whole life but now I get it how to use it and how to create a mobile stand on the tinker-cad. Here are some step you need to use to make things whole ........

• First -  You picked a shape you liked or a character you like then composed
• Second  - Then do you know the right side of the shape that changed the colour ,so that  side you can see the hole writing down the the hole shape .
• Third - When you found the word hole then click it and you can see your shape is changed into a hole .
• Fourth - Then group  the not hole shape and a hole shape then look above and and you can find and arrow it's look like and arrow but it's not a arrow then when you press it you can find out yourself that your tinker-cad design was a hole .

This is the step three of learning about Abstract Art and you can see what I've learn so far about this .What I learn from this lesson was technology pictures and how they use .For example , ladder ,how can we use it ?, Ladder is something that you climbed on  it when you can't reach something higher .That is a example of what we've been talking about all this time .

What I found challenging how important was pieces of technology are and also how helpful and useful was technology are. For example , painting brush without a panting brush you can't coloured your picture , that why technology always had a purpose .That is my example refer to what I found challenging .
