What is a Bio Security ?
Bio Security is a company that protects us from pests diseases, infections and viruses. Bio Security also protects us from the illness that pets are sick of which biosecurity protects animals from diseases. Bio Security is company that also protect us from diseases and things from overseas they check all of that object before it comes in our country .
Why is it important to protect our environment?
The other reason because when some things that just came in our country and without knowing it will spread out and it if spread out we will obviously we will sick .
For example influenza - influenza is a disease which is spread out and it will spread out and it will make us sick . That why it is important to protect our environment
Explain 2 different types of technology that is used in the biosecurity world ?
First example of a technology that biosecurity use is x-ray machine -When you enter the country from overseas , your bags are checked by an X-ray machine .X-ray are similar to light rays because both are forms of electromagnetic energy.
Second example is Herbicide- Herbicide are also used to kill weeds. They are poison that are sprayed on, painted on , and even injected in to weeds , but it's a expensive work . Spraying gorse from a helicopter can cost over $800 per hectare ! Touching ,tasting and breathing herbicide can be harmful to people .
